On November 28, the fourth meeting of the first Council of the Special Textiles Branch of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association and the 2015 annual textile and military industry supporting meeting were held in Changsha, Hunan. At the meeting, Major General Zhang Jianchun of the Quartermaster Equipment Research Institute of the General Logistics Department made a relevant introduction under the title of "Weight-reducing Materials and Lightweight Logistics Equipment"; Feng Xinxing, senior engineer of the Quartermaster Equipment Research Institute of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, introduced "Research on the Application of Flame Retardant Materials in Military Logistics"; du Chunlan, staff officer of the Technical Basic Management Center of the General Armament Department, and Shi Jian, senior engineer of the Standardization Research Center of the Electronic Information Basic Department of the General Armament Department, respectively made relevant introductions and trainings on the topics of "Interim Management Measures for the Formulation of National Military Standards" and "Formulation of National Military Standards.
During the meeting, the branch also organized the national military textile standards project demonstration and opening review meeting and the "electromagnetic shielding conductive fabric specification" and other national military standards approval meeting.
Chen Xuwei, chairman of the Special Textiles Branch of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association, introduced the branch's work in serving the national defense and military industry in 2014 with the title of "A Long Way to Explore". He focused on the opportunities brought to the industry by the development of the aerospace industry. Challenges, from the development situation to the application of new materials, provide a platform for providing more cost-effective military textiles.
In the coming year, the Special Textiles Branch has done a lot of work in military textile standards and standardization, such as assisting the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association to actively carry out and promote the revision and formulation of military standards; Organizing the revision and discussion of the industry standard "Special Industrial Textiles"; Drafting 8 military standard formulation and approval documents; Participating in the review and revision of 8 military standards (group standards) of Hangyu Company.
In introducing the work of the branch in the coming year, Chen Xuwei pointed out that, on the one hand, the branch of special textiles will continue to do a good job in standard work according to the deployment of the association and assist in the declaration and approval of some military standards. On the other hand, multi-level, multi-faceted, and various forms of research and discussion work, grasp industry trends, and carry out targeted work.
In addition, the branch will also make reasonable adjustments and improve the organizational structure to prepare for the change of the board of directors, and appropriately expand the membership units to change the situation of excessively single membership structure.
